At the Law Offices of Daniel An, we have successfully represented clients in the most challenging cases. A case can turn on factors such as strategy, timing, and paying attention to the little details that are often ignored. We make every effort to leave no stone unturned. We also do our best to be attentive and responsive to our clients so that they get the personal attention they deserve. After your case is over, we keep all results confidential out of respect for your privacy. We are intimately familiar with injuries due to car accidents, slip or trip and fall cases, dangerous property conditions, dog bites, and much more. Our office is also able to assist our clients with estate planning and post mortem trust and probate administration. Most of our cases are referred from other lawyers, law firms, medical facilities, doctors, and past clients based on how we handle cases and the results we achieve. We offer free consultations and if you are injured in an accident, we can assist you in finding the medical treatment you need right away. There are no up-front costs to you.
Daniel has spent most of his life in Torrance. Immediately after graduating high school, he served active duty in the Marine Corps infantry where he ascended to the position of platoon sergeant, commanding a team of approximately 30 marines. He was also assigned to short stints with the military police and a direct action/counter terrorism unit. After the Marines, Daniel attended and received his BA in political science, with a focus on political theory and philosophy, from the University of California, Berkeley, and his Juris Doctor from Chapman University School of Law.
Daniel began his legal career in San Francisco over 20 years ago assisting litigation attorneys in defense of major oil companies, collaborated with the Attorney General's Office in a Proposition 65 enforcement action, and also worked on the largest government contracts case in U.S. history at the time. In law school, Daniel clerked at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office where he assisted deputy district attorneys with prosecuting homicide cases, meeting with victims' families, and participating in preliminary hearings. He sought a career in the law as a natural consequence of his desire to help people in need and his interest in civil litigation.
As an attorney, he has successfully litigated cases against transportation carriers (bus, airline, railroad companies), insurance companies, schools, grocery stores, major retail stores, gas stations, and state and federal agencies. He also has extensive experience with probate cases, trust administrations, estate plans and deeds, minor's compromises, and other civil matters. Daniel has appeared in both state and federal courts in the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura.
